Alaska Milk partners with San Pedro PNP for an outreach program, holds thanksgiving party for office staff and aides

True to the spirit of #AlagangAlaska, Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) celebrated Christmas by giving back to the community through a year-end outreach program last 17 December 2022 at Barangay Landayan Evacuation Center in the City of San Pedro, Laguna (SPL) in partnership with the Philippine Nation Police (PNP) SPL.

More than 100 families were given Noche Buena gift packs which contain Alaska products and groceries. Some families in the area also received gift packages through the house-to-house activity led by AMC’s People & Culture Department (P&C).

“Alaska Milk had a great and won-dairy-ful year. So we thought about how we could best give back to the community. Hence, instead of having our annual company-wide Christmas party, we planned to hold an outreach program to truly provide Filipino families with #AlagangAlaska,” said P&C Director Edalyn Hadjula-Legarde.

To also give thanks and recognition for their valuable contributions, AMC held its Balik-Tanaw Program through a Christmas Party for the main office and manufacturing plant staff, aides, and helpers on 14 December 2022. Aside from the bountiful food they feasted on, smiles and hurrahs filled the holiday air as they hoped for their luck for the raffles prepared for them.

“Sa mahigit sampung taon ko bilang security guard, ngayon ko lang naransan na ipag-celebrate kami ng isang kumpanya ng Christmas party. Nakakatuwa na maramdaman na naa-appreciate nila ang mga trabaho namin,” said Samuel Galinato, one of security guards in the Makati Head Office of AMC.

(In my more than ten years as a security guard, this is the first time a company celebrated us through a Christmas party. I feel glad that they appreciate our work and efforts.)
