In line with the purpose of adopting a sustainable way of doing business, and to express its commitment to preserve and protect the environment, Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC), in partnership with the Philippine Navy Civil Military Operations Unit-National Capital Region, led a Tree Planting Activity on November 9, 2019 along the C6 Road in Barangay Santa. Ana, Taguig City. Determined to leave a living legacy to the next generation, a total 73 AMC employees, including the entire basketball team and coaching staff of the Alaska ACES, and 187 Philippine Navy personnel, all lined up, bended their knees and broke some ground to plant 250 trees into this otherwise bare patch of land. The atmosphere throughout the event was festive, and all the participants were in high spirits, as they looked back on a fresh new line of trees which now stands, not only as a symbol of hope, but also points to a new direction towards a greener future.
