Alaska Milk, Robinsons Supermarket collaborates for AlaskaRamay

Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and Robinsons Supermarket joined hands in donating essential items to Teacher’s Village East Barangay Hall particularly to Maginhawa Community Pantry.

 

AlaskaRamay (a word play between Alaska + Karamay or a person who sympathize during difficult times in English) is a corporate social responsibility effort of both companies which is  aligned with AMC’s mission to provide affordable nutrition to every Filipino homes, and Robinsons Supermarket’s belief that there is wealth in good health. Its objective is to extend assistance and provide fundamental items such as rice, canned goods along with Alaska Milk Fortified Powdered Milk Drink to those who are in need especially the ones that are hardly affected by the lockdown.

 

 

 

 

Recently, Alaska Milk and Robinsons just refreshed their 3-year Joint Business Plan which aims to identify the levers of growth through Joint Collaborative Platform to drive the 3-year strategy. One of the initiatives under the “Breakfast with Affordable Wellness Campaign” is the AlasKaramay. This initiative is to further strengthen the collaboration via Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in providing affordable nutrition to the Filipino families.

 

AMC’s Sales Project leads Raniel Marion Elip, Alliana Marie Ampil and Jacqueline Quilantang who were  among those who conceptualized. The idea extending assistance to community pantries such as Maginhawa shared: “While brainstorming the AlasKaramay mechanics, those were the times where community pantries like Maginhawa started and supported their neighbors and offering free necessity items and promoting the idea of: Magbigay ayon sa kakayahan. kumuha batay sa pangangailangan.”

 

 

 

We started executing this during the World Milk Day activity of Robinsons, last June 2021, wherein every purchase on participating products. Alaska will donate a certain percentage of sales to Maginhawa Community Pantry.” Mr. Elip shared.

 

A total amount of P114,107 was contributed in the program.
