Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Paranaque Livelihood Management Office of the Paranaque City Government, roll out the AlasKabuhayan livelihood and nutrition sessions with participants who were small business owners such as sari-sari stores ( Mom and Pop Stores) and carinderias ( neighborhood eateries).
Fifty-Three (53) women participated in the AlasKabuhayan session held in San Antonio Multipurpose Hall in Paranaque City, where delectable and nutritious recipes such as Chicken Ala King Empanada, Creamy Tortang Talong, Milky Ramen, and Creamy Mango Sago were prepared through a live cooking demonstration using Alaska Crema-Asada and Alaska Evaporada led by Chef Kai Padilla. A nutrition education session led by AMC’s Regulatory Affairs Manager, Anna Marie Villanueva, then followed to refresh the participants’ knowledge about healthy eating and proper food preparation.
The event was graced by the PLRMO Department Head, Marlette Yamsuan, and Kwin Arroyo, DTI Paranaque Representative together with a very energetic host, AMC’s Brand Manager, DR Reyes, Culinary Marketing Manager, Kirk Matthew Amante who led the AlasKabuhayan business talk by discussing negosyo tips and customer management which the audience can apply in their business ventures. Kirk is an entrepreneur himself, being an owner of Delanteph, a popular custom-engraved acrylic collection.
