Geared toward environmental sustainability, AlasKalikasan was established by Alaska Milk Corporation to address the issue of pollution caused by single-use plastics. This high dependence on the said plastics is primarily due to the Philippines’ sachet economy.

Being a plastic producer, AMC is aware of the impact caused by its product packaging on the environment if not properly taken care of. To fortify responsible disposal and handling of plastics, AMC encourages the community to collect plastics in exchange for Alaska milk products. In efforts to achieve a net-zero plastic community, AMC is also actively supporting environmental facilities and processes that focus more on regenerative systems that minimize waste.
