Dairy farmers of Samahang Maggagagatas ng Batangas Cooperative (SAMABACO) visited Alaska Milk Corporation’s (AMC) Manufacturing Plant in San Pedro City, Laguna, last 23 January 2023 to forge a greater understanding of the dairy processes of the company.

Fourteen farmers toured AMC Research & Development Department and were exposed to the actual manufacturing operations of the different dairy products of Alaska Milk.

This learning opportunity is in line with the establishment of the Philippine-Netherlands Dairy Excellence Center, which aims to contribute to food security and uplift the milk production and capacity of the country.
